Established to bridge the gap between talented youth and professional stages, SMEF pairs emerging student musicians directly with seasoned stage veterans. Through the SMARTS Initiative, we eliminate financial barriers to artistic training while celebrating diverse musical traditions.

Our cultural events actively elevate underrepresented voices—including women, artists of color, and LGBTQ+ performers—ensuring the local artistic landscape reflects the true diversity of the Coachella Valley.
